I just learned about the Montessori concept of activity trays for toddlers. Where you create several trays to choose from, within easy reach, and each has *everything needed to perform a given activity* I am SO INTO THIS. ā€¦but not, like, for my kid. For me šŸ˜‚ #ADHD

When weā€™re not doing something we want/need to be doing, we often pull on the Motivation lever. But often, itā€™s a lot more effective to pull the Accessibility lever. What would make this task more ACCESSIBLE? Then we donā€™t need as much motivation to do it! Now, AND in the future

It's unrealistic to expect yourself to manage your symptoms perfectly. By lowering our standards of what we expect, it will lead to more emotional regulation. It's that gripping of trying to do it all perfectly that sometimes leads to the explosion. youtube.com/watch?v=VPBIXLā€¦
