TurboHorse 🗿 Pluckrose is talking about some aspects of postmodernism which have a clear link with the views of the pseudo academics who misappropriate those foundation postmodernist views, who through the use of revision and oversimplification, leads to absurdities like 'science is a cult'.

This is a brilliant idea from Helen Pluckrose ("The counterweight handbook") True decolonisation should begin with decolonising decolonisation itself, at which point we all win.

LDN Abhishek Saha I'm very positive about decolonisation provided the thing is question is actually colonised. Try to "decolonise" my brain & make it think the way you want it to & we have a problem because my brain is rightfully mine & I have full rights over what goes on in it.

I hold my position that Ilana Redstone's book is good with a high degree of confidence that leaves space for a good argument to convince me to lower my level of confidence. I do not anticipate this happening. :-p

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, "The Counterweight handbook" by Helen Pluckrose is a gem. Woke may (or may not) have reached an inflection point, but the insights here remain vital for anyone who goes to a workplace, school or university.
