10 years ago, I travelled to Cardiff, UK from Kabul. While NATO summit was discussing Afghanistan🇦🇫, no woman was invited. Amnesty UK came with brilliant idea of photo action “Talk to me, Not about Me”. 10 years later, we Afghan women have lost our agency but still fighting hard!

Biden called US withdrawal & evacuations "extra-ordinary" on 31 August 2021 and it was the hurtful words I could hear as an Afghan when I saw horrific images from airport & people falling off plane. Three years later, this effort by House Foreign Affairs Committee Majority holding Biden is commendable.
