Potentially unpopular opinion: if you can’t teach the whole curriculum without homework, your curriculum is the problem. Kids aren’t“quiet quitting” by expecting to only do work @ school. After 7-8 hrs of work, they should expect to protect their peace & find joy when they leave

Saw a mother out on the streets with her seven small children, waiting until 4pm to check into a hotel.That broke my soul into two. This type of homelessness is more common than people think, and just a reminder of what my family had to go through just years ago.

Another part of the eviction crisis that does not get a lot of attention is the ridiculous price of storage units -- so when you do face an eviction & are forced to vacant, the costs of moving out & storing items is hard to meet so your personal belongings end up being lost too.

I told y'all 4 years ago that the governor was going to end up removing these School Board members after the grand jury report. Many of y'all still voted for Donna Korn on tuesday. Elections have consequences.
