After seeing Waterstones are hosting this, I won't even cast a glance in their window from now on, let alone buy a book there. Unleashed; Unhinged; Unprincipled.....

It’s been a crazy start to the cubbing season and after a quiet start, hunts in Dorset are now back in full swing openly hunting fox cubs. We’ve been with seven hunts in the past eight days…most starting at dawn. Donations greatly appreciated paypal.me/dorsethuntmoni…

Swallows - Migration Fever Rises The weather front moving across Dorset has unsettled the Swallows and they are now massing in large numbers on the farm. They are feeding continuously around the cattle. Will they depart imminently? - only the flock instinct knows. Mark Eaton

⚠️🦅 #MarshHarrier shot - poacher convicted in Reggio Calabria #Italy. Hunting raptors such as honey buzzards & marsh harriers, which are currently migrating in large numbers from southern Italy via Sicily > Malta to Africa, is often seen as some kind of ritual of ‘masculinity’.

I picked up 2 feathers at Alners Gorse yesterday. Out in the common area, amid the tussocky grass, this very fresh primary from a Barn Owl. I found the 2nd feather in the woodland in an area where I've flushed a Woodcock on a couple of occasions. Is it from a Woodcock? #woodcock

Very impressive weather pattern in Europe right now. Strong easterly winds and hot in Central/Northern Europe meanwhile heavy rain plagues the west with much cooler conditions. The heat is breaking records (for this time of year). THREAD

So the ‘woke’-bashing ⁦Mail+⁩ lays into ⁦National Trust⁩ again. For doing a bit more to tackle climate change. To be clear we are not banning meat or anything like it, just having a look at making some sensible reductions. RT or like if you stand with us.

I had a lovely encounter at St Aldhelm's Head this morning when I noticed this fabulous Harvest Mouse climbing around in 6ft tall dead Brassica's alongside the access track. Totally unfazed as I watched, it eventually dropped into the brambles below #tiny #ThatTail
