What a fabulous photo. Fond memories of Chris Gollon's national touring exhibition in the Cathedral in 2015, and his Fellowship Durham University's Institute of Advanced Study in 2009, where his studio overlooked Palace Green. Beautiful, welcoming city and cathedral.

Lovely little drawing by Chris Gollon (1953 - 2017) that we've just had framed. A straight-to-canvas man, his drawings are rare. As in his paintings, in his drawings he portrayed women with great sensitivity: 'Woman in the Wrong Job' Chinese ink on Bristol art paper, 2016.
