First they said only cancer pain should get opioids. Then they said opioids don’t work for cancer pain. First they said only acute pain should have opioids. Then they said maybe only 5 pills. They say it doesn’t hurt pain scores. Then why do we keep getting messages like this?

When will this aspect of the OD crisis be acknowledged? And no Suboxone isn’t the answer. Treating pain again is. They’ve erased CPPs who are abandoned from the discussion. What a disgusting time in USA history for health care. Shame on this country for continuing to allow this.

WTF good does it do to further pathologize victims of sex abuse and tell them that their suffering is not valid?...the pain is 'all in their head'? It's only 'justifying' mistreatment of women.

A critic of our article wrote, 'The pleural of anecdote is not data,' implying that RCTs on opioid efficacy are intrinsically objective. Until someone invents a tool to stick into humans to measure their pain, ALL PAIN ASSESSMENT REMAINS ANECDOTAL.
