Since 2012, the NHS has lost £10 million *every week* to private healthcare profits. If the government really wanted to save money, it would stop wasting billions of pounds on private contracts. End outsourcing. Reverse privatisation. Restore a publicly-owned NHS for all.

Ah yes. Because talking snakes, turning people into pillars of salt, a worldwide flood with zero evidence, and creating everything in 6 days are so realistic.🙄

I used to write about the ongoing ecosystem catastrophe which we choose to minimize as "climate change," but I've accepted that nobody is interested. We actually could do something which would work to reduce the acceleration, at least, but - We're busy arguing about eating pets.

Imagine being so completely brainwashed by your religious beliefs, you thought people should be looking to Biblical times for ideas on how to live. These people are so lost. Looking backwards instead of forwards. I despise their thinking.

This statement, from the representative of a police force, shows us the mess in which we find ourselves as we seek to lower road crime against cyclists and encourage more people to cycle. 1/17 in a 🧵

Dear #Christians, 1. Does God have free will? Y/N 2. Can God commit evil acts? Y/N If Yes, then why follow God? If no, then why didn't God make us similarly? Regards, Secular atheist

Arguments from Christians: 1. It is Gods nature to be good. He is goodness. 2. God has free will 3. God made us in his image So....WTF went wrong? Why did God create us with the capacity to be evil?

Beyond Evolution J.K. It's ironic that Christians always bring up paedophilia in arguments about morality. There's not a single word in the Bible to forbid having sex with children, so if you claim it's wrong, then you certainly didn't get that from Christianity. You got it from secular morality.
