Supporters of LB574 have said kids under 19 not mature enough to make permanent life-altering decisions, so need protection. OK. Given what we know about CTE, should those under 19 not be able to play 🏈? Developing brains are at risk from concussions, with lifelong effects.

LB574: state CMO will make decisions on non-surgical gender therapies. While I'm sure Dr Tesmer is a fine ENT doc, shouldn't those decisions be made by someone in adolescent medicine/psychiatry/endocrinology?

Yes! I get to do these modules instead of going through my article stack on newest procal analysis, various other papers I have ready to read. But I'm sure it's great for my patients that I'm doing this instead of medical article reading.
