On the occasion of the first National Space Day, IIT Goa hosted a talk by Dr. Suman Sinha Ray, Lead Discipline Scientist at NASA, USA. An insightful talk titled "Defying Gravity: The International Space Station as a Gateway to Scientific Discovery."

IIT Goa organized a National Space Day painting competition themed "Touching Lives While Touching the Moon: Indian Space Saga." The event inspired & fostered interest in love for space science & exploration among the students, who showcased their artistic talent.

Institute organized quiz competitions for our UG students. The Chief Guest, Dean R&D IIT Goa, shared insightful thoughts on the Indian space program, current research at IIT Goa, and opportunities for school students & teachers to engage with us through various activities.

Dr. Anirudha Ambekar delivered an insightful talk on Space Propulsion Systems & the ongoing research at IIT Goa related to space exploration. Such initiatives by IIT Goa, aims at inspiring local & IIT Goa students to pursue careers in space science & engineering.
