Having managed a project in Madagascar to quantify the impacts of forest restoration on the ecohydrological processes which underpin ecosystem services, I now get it. This research is HARD! Ecohydrologists are heroes (with awesome ability to fix technical issues anytime/place).

Thanks to the local assistants from Association Mitsinjo who maintained the instrumented plots, often sleeping at the sites, emptying rain guages etc. Thanks Andrianavonona Jean Yves, Ramarolahy Georges, Randriatahina Jean, Razafimanantsoa Marcel, Tsiresy Rolland, Razafimahepa & Youssouf.
