3. These interventions were introduced in 2008 and 2010. The Newcastle intervention of 2008 is often referred to as an exemplary public health success in Australia. Our study conducted in 2022 is the first to test the effects on family and domestic violence.

In cycling competitions in Mazandaran, after government officials prevented women from participating in the competitions, men also boycotted going to the podium in support of them. A beautiful image of the unity of Iranian men and women and their struggle against the Islamic

A reminder that Elsevier made $10.5 BILLION in 2022 from selling your academic journals and articles behind paywalls, and make more profit than Amazon, Google, and Apple every year… And paid the academics who wrote the articles $0 And paid the reviewers of the articles $0

Yet another morning of media coverage of women killed by men’s violence in Australia. 23 women killed allegedly by male violence in 2023 alone. Femicide is a crisis. We need increased resources & attention to this critical threat to women’s safety. How many more women must die?

I live abroad but spoke to my 80+ yo parents this weekend. They are very unclear about what a Yes vote means; the No strategy of sowing doubt is working. It’s not enough to say “just vote Yes” - needs a clear strong positive campaign explaining why #auspol #VoiceToParliament

If a man is so desperately unhappy in his relationship ‘why doesn’t he just leave?’ Instead he stabs his wife & 11-week old daughter to death. Why didn’t HE just leave? A Man's Problem

So this bloke beats his partner so badly he ends up in jail twice. He does the same program twice and it’s so successful he goes home and continues to beat her. Eventually he kills her and gets a 6 year non parole sentence which just makes a mockery of the value of her life.

describing women who clean and run a house, look after multiple children and source and prepare food for a spouse as “not working” is surely one of the most successful conspiracies of the 20th century

Boys and young men coercing girls and young women into sex: "We need to move beyond thinking “what if this was our daughter?” and start considering “what if this was our son?” Parents must talk to their sons about consent - earlier, and more explicitly. smh.com.au/national/nsw/p…
