A BIG thank-you to our SUERC #stableisotope lab technicians Andrew and Julie, who have retrofitted a secondhand Elementar IRMS Microcube to our old Thermo Fisher Delta XP, with new fittings and 3D-printed assembly. Great to see a 21-year old mass spec being put to good use.

Today, Andi Smith from the British Geological Survey kicked off day two of our IRMS User Meeting. He talked us through how they use their (eight!) Elementar IRMS systems and peripherals, highlighting the modifications and novel techniques they use.
