I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been selected to serve as an Assistant Principal w/ 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 this upcoming school year! While it’s bittersweet transitioning from being in the classroom for 15 years, I’m grateful for this opportunity to impact education on a larger scale!

Hi! When I was in second grade, it was before the age of technology. So in a perfect world, I would’ve been able to just look her up on online, but between me being so young and the lack of communication tools, I was not able to. I have since looked her up, & she has passed. 🙏🏽😇

Oh, my favorite is Two Truths and a Lie. It’s such a conversation starter and my students always love telling things about themselves. It works really good with staff members and coworkers too! #VATOY22

Great question! I take on what I have the capacity to do, & then I am transparent when my plate is full and I am unable to take on more obligations. This transparency helps others around me to respect my boundaries & enables me to have a healthy home/work life balance. #VATOY22
