Today US Attorney Mr. William Ihlenfeld visited the Contemporary World Issues class to discuss how the Dept. of Justice handles terrorism cases in the USA.  William Ihlenfeld discussed cases connected to WV and what the DOJ looks for to thwart future terror situations.  Linsly School

Graphic Design students are learning how to design a social media ad to market a product 🍫 🍬 This unit combines many skills they have learned this semester including photography! 📷 Linsly School

Prefects had their final peer mentoring meeting with their prefectees today. They reflected on their year and shared advice! Linsly School

Thank you to Dr. Riley and Ms. Simon from WVU who came to speak to the DTE class about a career in accounting. They showed students how accountants help clients solve problems and gave some helpful retirement planning tips!

We enjoyed working with Euphoric Doughnuts this quarter!🍩 DTE students used Design Thinking to help owner, Cameron, solve some current challenges. Final projects ranged from a finance spreadsheet, to a flyer promoting to local businesses, to a sign for the storefront. 🪧 🔢 🚚

Graphic Design students took a field trip to Dairy Queen, and then created an ad in Adobe Express for their tasty treat 🍦

Thanks to local artist, Vondel, for partnering with DTE this quarter! We enjoyed learning about your work and hopefully playing a small part in helping you grow your socials! 🎨
