Anyway, as someone who both works as a contractor AND helps run a number of studios AND runs my own, unionize the games industry. Don't trust that even good employers will do the right thing. They have something to lose. Make it so they have to do right. That's the only way.

Almost 750 employees have unionized across Blizzard Entertainment and Bethesda Game Studios this week. There's a sense that unionisation in the game industry is becoming somewhat 'normal.' That might very well be the case, but that's down to worker solidarity–not corporations.
