I've been seeing The Secret of NIMH love on my timeline so I felt like I had to share one of my favorite scenes from the film where Mrs. Brisby saves her children. The animation by Don Bluth and his team as well as Jerry Goldsmith's incredible score makes this scene for me.

I’m very sad to hear that James Earl Jones passed away today at the age of 93. One of the most legendary actors to have lived, he also voiced some iconic characters like Darth Vader in Star Wars and Mufasa in The Lion King. I’m really gonna miss him.

No one could've played Mufasa better than James Earl Jones in The Lion King. He added so much weight and power to his character through just his voice alone and really helped give the film more of its epic scope. I will seriously miss him.

Well, we now have confirmation that parts of Beyond the Spider-Verse have indeed not been scrapped. I'm glad cause that source was very dubious, but my point still stands. I hope the crew is treated well and that they get the film out as best they can.

Have some concept art from Inside Out 2 by the late Ralph Eggleston. Even till the end, he continued to make some of the most amazing art possible for Pixar. I'm seriously gonna miss seeing new art from him, but his work will live on forever.

I got to see an early screening of Transformers One and it was pretty fun! While its first act and parts of its screenplay were clunky, the strong character bonds, top-notch animation and action made up for it. This was a big surprise! I’ll give you my full review very soon.

Is it really that hard for people to be courteous in a movie theater? Seriously, I do not understand why you would go pay money to be in a movie theater if you're just gonna talk or be on your phone. You can do that for free outside the theater.

Reading horrible stories like this happening at the animation studios is exactly why animators and artists are negotiating and fighting for a new deal right now as we speak. This isn't the first time this has happened sadly and it needs to change cause I never want to see this.

DreamWorks just dropped the first trailer for Dog Man today and I've got to say this really looks like so much fun. The animation looks amazing and captures the style of Dav Pilkey's books perfectly and the humor is top notch. This is gonna be a really fun film!

Fifteen years ago today, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was released. One of the goofiest animated films of the 2000s, this comedy from Sony Pictures Animation really excels due to its silly and hilarious story, zany animation, and funny and memorable characters.

There's been a shakeup in management at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Jennifer Lee has resigned the position of CCO and is returning to direct Frozen III with Encanto and Zootopia 2 director Jared Bush taking her place. I wish both of them the best with their next projects.

It's been announced that Byron Howard would be returning to direct Zootopia 2 reuniting with Jared Bush once again as he did on both the first Zootopia as well as Encanto. I'm glad to see Howard back on this since he's the best director at Disney Animation. Cannot wait!
