Congratulations to Queen’s Bluebell A and King George A/E that won the “DO YOU SEE ME?” Learning Disability Information Board competition. A fruit basket and certificate was given to the winners. Our guest judge David prsented the award himself.🎊 #BHRUTLDWEEK2024

Our LD and Dementia link/champions session was around “Person, personhood and person-centredness”and seeing our vulnerable patients a PERSON. They have also explored the deeper meaning of this by creating a collage and reflecting as what makes them a person.

BHRUT Careers Fair 2024 here we come! Speaking to Trust staff and students about Learning Disability Nursing and raising awareness about the Career Map we offer offer in BHRUT which opens opportunities for progression. Come and see us at the Marquee 2-3 July, 2024.

Our PDN Lorenzo doing a talk on LD Nursing to our secondary school students who visited the BHRUT Career Fair. Lorenzo spoke about the barriers people with LD encounter and how LD Nurses can support them to access equitable healthcare and make a difference in their lives.
