Wow! Take a bow Emily Hammermeister 👏👏 Fantastic plenary talk this morning at ICOS RI #ICOS2024SC. Great to see such complex & challenging autonomous sensor deployments presented in such a clear manner. Also a phenomenal amount of data & work completed within 3 years. Well done!!

At #ICOS2024SC, Emily Hammermeister presents results of using novel pH & total alkalinity sensors onboard autonomous platforms. Three deployments presented. Results represent a breakthrough in autonomous marine observations, improving spatio-temporal resolution & cost-efficiency.

At #ICOS2024SC, Pablo Trucco-Pignata presents a vision for the monitoring, reporting & verification (MRV) of marine-based carbon dioxide removal (mCDR). The goal is that this MRV system should be satisfactory, yet achievable. mCDR is not a substitute for emission reductions.

Last week, a representation from NOC Ocean Technology and Engineering team went to the Challenger 150 Conference conference in Oban, Scotland.
