It is with a heavy heart that I have learnt of the passing on of H.E Raphael Ndung'u, Deputy Governor, Lamu County. DG was a great leader, passionate about development in his County and devolution in Kenya. May his Soul Rest in Eternal Peace

Today, in my role as Chairperson of the Agriculture Committee at the Council of Governors , I led a delegation of fellow governors in a productive discussion with the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Dr.Andrew Mwihia Karanja Dr Andrew Karanja.

I joined the Agriculture Committee in a courtesy call to CS Dr Andrew Karanja to discuss key priorities for the sector. The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration and consultation on initiatives such as the national subsidy programme, agripreneur model & food security
