Jedd Fisch says he'll get an update from the doctor on Quentin Moore later today, but doesn't think his injury will keep him out long term. Says he's waiting to find out if Moore will be day-to-day or perhaps out for a couple weeks.

To update & correct this, we were alerted to one we'd missed. In 1976, JC transfer Ronnie Rowland rushed for 183 yds. on 24 carries in his debut, the season-opener vs. Virginia at Husky Stadium. That year, Rowland became just the 2nd 1,000-yard rusher in UW history.

Appeared Weber State had only 10 players on the field at the snap. Would defer to rules experts, but I would think this should have been an illegal substitution penalty (though it would have been declined).

Watching that sequence again — the player was on the field for the prior play, and was part of a substitution scramble as UW went tempo. Wasn’t just a case of a dude deciding he was gonna run out there and hit someone.

In a statement, a Big Ten spokesperson acknowledges an illegal substitution penalty should have been called against Weber State on the play that led to Quentin Moore's injury.

.Washington Football pulled in 306,000 viewers for its contest against Weber State. Tough to compare to Pac-12 Network numbers because it wasn't Nielsen-rated. We'll see how much it changes when UW isn't in the 11:00 p.m. EST window and (if) the Comcast dispute ends. via Sports Media Watch
