Check our latest paper where we use correlative Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Fluorescence Microscopy to study biomolecular condensates surface tension and viscosity. Published in Biophysical Journal sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
Excited to share our "2-step" force sensor for measuring single molecule force loading rates in live cells. Integrins pull ~1pN/sec while ramping from ~5pN to ~50 pN. Forces are super dynamic! Video below highlights single events salaitalab Emory Chemistry pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
Excited to share our new paper Nature Communications. bit.ly/3WUkxbJ Single-nucleosome imaging reveals that condensins act as molecular crosslinkers, locally constraining nucleosomes to organize mitotic chromosomes. Nucleosome-nucleosome interactions constrain whole chromosomes.
👋Job alert! We are recruiting 2 group leaders working in the field of cancer cell biology to join our centre at Barts Cancer Institute (Queen Mary) Queen Mary University of London. Come and join us 🤩 👉Get in touch if you have any questions!
If you are interested in applying for a fellowship to do a PhD Université de Lausanne in my lab (vastenhouwlab.org working on transcription regulation and nuclear organization) as a host? Send me a CV and a motivation letter before September 13). unil.ch/ecoledoctorale….
The vastenhouwlab.org Université de Lausanne is hiring two PhD students! If you are interested in transcription regulation, nuclear organization, and quantitative bio, go and check out the official advertisements here rb.gy/rwcz3e and rb.gy/rwcz3e and get in touch.
This is good news! Laura would be delighted to see progress in the search for personalised treatments for children with brain tumours, she was in awe of JonesLabICR & wanted to help in any way she could. So she donated her brain & we donated £30,000 from the #BeMoreLaura fund ❤️
My commute this morning ☺️ Ivaska Lab in #TheHappiestCountryInTheWorld TurkuBioscience is starting our European Research Council (ERC) AdG funded project BorderControl on tumor-matrix crosstalk limiting cancer progression. We are looking for postdocs! Pls contact me for more info
