Protecting programs proven to work! As Chair of the Budget Committee, I was proud to make the motion to restore funding for vital housing, homelessness, and community programs, because even though it's a difficult budget year, it's what our neighborhoods deserve.

This is Dagget Street in #KearnyMesa. Construction crews recently completed an asphalt overlay, so the road is as good as new! 👏 This work crosses Convoy Street, which was also recently resurfaced. Good news: the Convoy project is expected to be completed soon! #SanDiegoAtWork

I joined Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest & local leaders on the anniversary of the Dobbs decision to discuss our efforts to protect #ReproductiveRights & improve access to #ReproductiveCare. In CA, access to #abortion & contraception is a constitutional right & we will fight to protect it!

The Wangenheim Joint-Use Park project in #MiraMesa is coming together nicely! ✨ Crews are painting the park's comfort station, installing permanent fencing and finishing up irrigation and landscaping items. The park is expected to reopen to the public later this year.
