This graph is a thermodynamic model of concrete with pyrrhotite that is oxidising & releasing sulfur and causing internal sulfate attack. In Phase 1 the sulfur turns to sulfuric acid, this consumes the monosulfate creating ettringite causing the concrete to expand and crack.
