Anion binding community: read our story on the impact of EWGs that are 8! bonds away from a C(sp3)-H binding site in bambusuril macrocycles Angewandte Chemie. 🏆Log(Ka)=13 for I- in acetonitrile.🏆 Great work by PhD student Matus Chvojka, co-supervised with Vladimir Sindelar.
What a way to start a new year! Thrilled to share our latest contribution on sulfate-templated synthesis of a switchable fluorescent [2]catenane in Chemical Science. Congratulations to my co-authors: Krzysztof Bąk & Bartosz Trzaskowski Uniwersytet Warszawski! pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…

Exciting to see this work from Kai Wu | 吴凯 out now in Nature Chemistry. Four ligands bridged, under thermodynamic control, in a Pd2ABCD architecture. Self-sorting in coordination cages still has surprises for us. Paves the way to functionality!#chemtwitter tinyurl.com/5b26fn74
I am looking forward the first day of the Girona Seminar 2024 after exploring the city on this wonderful morning. It is a pleasure to be part of this meeting.
First talk on a big stage at Girona Seminar 2024. 🎉 Thankful for the opportunity to show my results as a (little) PhD student in Clever Lab lab in front of such a great audience of chemists. A beautiful conference in Girona so far. Enjoying both science and Spanish life! GRK2376 "Confinement-Controlled Chemistry"
Enjoyed the poster-session at Girona Seminar 2024 to show my work at David Van Craen-Lab today. Had great discussions with experts of the field and I am grateful for the suggestions. Big compliment to the organization-committee; great venue and even more great talks at the sessions.
The final day of the Girona Seminar 2024 could not have a better start. Walking on the city wall to the conference venue allowed me to enjoy this amazing view.
Great science from Shaymaa Al Shehimy and David Van Craen, among so many other excellent oral and poster presentations inside a 14th-century church in the beautiful Girona - thank you Agustí Lledó xribas et al. for organizing, “Girona Seminar” means excellence!
The Girona Seminar 2024 was a great conference. We saw so much great science and we had a lot of fun during the social events. Congratulations to Malavika Kalarikkal for winning a poster price for our group. Many thanks to the organizing committee and we wish everyone save travels home.
Amazing lecture from Amar Flood (Amar Flood, Flood Group) earlier today CNR_ISOF Great science, a highly engaging scholarly presentation and fluorescent #3Dprinted materials!! What more would you ask for? 😀
Perfect end of a vibrant scientific week with Lars from our lab and Malavika from the lab of David Van Craen TU Dortmund receiving poster prizes in Girona! Congratulations 🎉 !!!
On our way to #SupraSys2024 in Goa! Looking forward to meeting many colleagues and friends from Germany and India in our Supramolecular Chemistry meeting over the coming days! Raja Mitra Indian Institute of Technology Goa Uni Duisburg-Essen @unidue.bsky.social
