The fact is that, without widening Speer or tackling mode-shift, the roadway will be overburdened by vehicle traffic by 2030. Bc only 1/3 of the vehicles are through traffic, it's reasonable to take on the challenge of how neighborhood travel could change, given the opportunity

You say debate, I & Benjamin say community outreach for local issues that impact students & families everyday, like reliable, frequent, high-quality #BRT service on Federal Blvd. Students & families who use RTD’s 31 🚍 agree: It deserves its own lane. cc: Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT)

Thank you Andrés Carrera from Mayor Mike Johnston’s office for joining DBL this evening to talk about the affordable housing measure on the ballot this fall. We really appreciated the conversation about housing & transportation. Housing Policy is Transportation Policy.

Every repaving project should be an opportunity to reclaim a fair share of public space for people. The world doesn’t end. People in cars still have multiple options to access destinations. The livability of our community increases. It’s time for an #YESonHDEN measure!

The 34-year-old Americans With Disabilities Act may soon — finally — give pedestrians, people in wheelchairs or parents pushing strollers true equality in the public right of way. usa.streetsblog.org/2024/09/12/on-…

Find yourself a Councilperson that asks question about bikeway funding like Chris Hinds Denver City Council We agree there needs to be more dedicated funding to citywide bikeways in the 2025 budget outside of the NTMP.

If our Denver Dept of Transportation & Infrastructure budget doesn't match our #Safety, #PeoplePriority & #ModeShift goals, we wonder: "What happened?" A reminder: Denver Climate Action, Sustainability & Resiliency runs a wildly popular⚡️🚲rebate program that showed these results/recos in its 1st implementation year (2022)⤵️ *15K vouchers to date
