3/6 He played minor, U21 and Senior for club and county. The O Neill family have generously donated a Cup in Donal’s memory which this year will be presented to the winning club after a series of games between Edenderry and Portlaoise Senior men’s and Ladies teams.

4/6 The Ladies game throws in at 4.15 and will be followed by the Men's game at 6pm in Gaelic Park. There will also be underage camogie games during the afternoon between Edenderry and Maynooth where Donal was an coach.

5/6 After the game our Presidents Bar will be open and we have invited members of the 1985 and 1995 Dowling Cup winning teams, the Edenderry Minor winning team of 1985 and the Offaly U/21 teams from 1986 and 1988

6/6 to take part in a Q&A session in memory of Donal and his great career with the Reds and the Faithful county. Hope you can come along to support the event and pay tribute to one of Edenderry’s and Offaly’s finest players ever.

Donal O' Neill Memorial Games Tomorrow in Gaelic Park and Weavers we have a series of games in honour of Donal,we would like to thank the O'Neill family for their help in organising the event and for the trophy in honour of Donal and his achievements with both Offaly GAA 1/3.

Great performance from our under 15 footballers tonight to get a draw, to finish top in their championship group against St Vincent’s, in Kilclonfert. In a tight game, Edenderry took control in the 2nd half and were extremely unlucky not to get a win.
