(((ل()(ل() 'yoav))))👾 yeah this aligns with my general categorization of research - "i got it to work" (most papers) vs "it works" (few papers) [i'm not excluded from the most/few distinction]
Science is not a solo endeavor. It's a team sport and you have to play the long game. If you're lucky, you get to play it for decades. If you're doing it right, at the end you will have more friends than papers. (thanks Christian Wolf for the nice photo!) 3/3
I'm hiring PhD students to join my group in the CS department at CU Boulder! 🏔️🦬 We work on statistical and geospatial machine learning, focusing on real-world problems 🌏 and fundamental advances in efficient and responsible ML methods 📈! Oct 10, 11MT: calendar.colorado.edu/event/esther_r…
I am recruiting PhD students Princeton Computer Science interested in ML applications in bio! Our group aims to define new problems for AI in molecular & structural bio. We work at the intersection of many areas incl 3D vision & generative modeling for proteins. Plus we make useful tools!❄️🐉
We are excited to welcome a fantastic group of speakers for FGVC11! We will hear talks from Carl Vondrick, Phillip Isola, @syeung10, and Ludwig Schmidt. Keep an eye on the program here: sites.google.com/view/fgvc11/pr…
