Dedicating my first tweet to writing down a note to my future self that today, my cats are enjoying the anticipated summer for sure, but no rain for months and 24°C at 9am on an 11th of March in France can never be considered normal... #ClimateCrisis

the most powerful climate report of the decade was published on monday, after 195 governments fought over the words in its summary for policymakers, and the only media allowed in the room just published its account of who lobbied for what 1/

Fieldwork for my #phd project OIST started a few days ago. We are making great progress catching small blue fish 🐟 along the shore of #Okinawa. Today was windy (a typhoon is lurking around) so we set up our lab inside the van rather than under a tree as we'd done so far 🧑‍🔬

Fantastic visit of St John's Island national marine lab today! We looked at the island's coastal habitats and learned about the facilities and research topics from the scientists working there (did you know that sea urchins eat corn?). Thank you for this opportunity APCRS2023

Very happy to have gotten the opportunity to present my research at the 8th Okinawa Marine Science Network at the University of the Ryukyus today 🌏 And I got to sample some ice cream from a vending machine outside the venue before my talk 🍦
