With the Greens now having the same number of seats as Reform, the UK media should provide them the same platform and level of coverage as Farage’s ilk. Will it happen though? #GE24

Simply devastated to hear of the sudden death of good friend and colleague Ian Keatley. Such a kind, funny and talented man. Thoughts with his family, loved ones and the community Southwark Cathedral where he is so loved. May he RIP.

It is with great sadness that today we learned of the sad news of our Organist and Director of Music, Ian Keatley’s, death. As a Cathedral community we are so deeply shocked and our hearts go out to Ian’s family at this most difficult of times. bit.ly/46IpSHF

Deeply saddened today to learn of the unexpected death of Ian Keatley. I personally owe him a debt of gratitude for commissioning the piece that led to the development of Amra Choluim Chille. He will be missed

Our final rehearsal before tonight’s concert in St Canice’s Cathedral! We’re finishing our weekend at KilkennyArtsFestival with a feast of Romantic Music from Vienna—including this beautiful song, one of six ‘Geistliche Lieder’ by Hugo Wolf.

The usual geniuses keep using this photo, to make their usual dumb/hateful anti-immigration arguments. Quite ironic, to say the least. A few facts about this photo, for anyone interested in who those women were - and what their stories might tell you about Ireland. /1

Sestina Music are now accepting applications for auditions for their 24/25 Next Generation Mentoring Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for young professional singers and highly recommended ⬇️

People say classical music is elitist. But right now THE LARGEST CLASSICAL MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE WORLD costs as little as £8 to see the world's GREATEST headline acts. And oasis want between £74 and £506. Not very demure. Not very mindful. And quite elitist if you ask me.

This is an absolutely epic disc. It’s been a genuine delight discovering the lush textures of Benevoli’s music — check out my two close ups in this video for some absolutely wild dissonance treatment!
