The one silver lining in experiencing spiritual abuse is how the abuser can become a litmus test. After you’ve seen the abusive person when people whose opinions they care about aren't watching you also discover the lack of discernment in anyone who would promote them.

Why do so many supposedly God-fearing men treat their sisters in Christ as if they are adultery waiting to happen? Your pure holy sister in Christ who has intentionally and jealously kept herself from sin does not have a thing for you.
