Negotiating an agreement between the UK and the EU member states withdrawing from the Energy Charter Treaty #ECT to cancel #sunsetclause can also be on the agenda to reset UK-EU climate/energy relations.

The latest stats show that the Energy Charter Treaty accounts for 10% of all ICSID cases registered. The #ECT is the single most invoked investment treaty but there is a lot more to sort.
