Wow, what a story by Chris Negron - "We were surrounded by the past, but focused only on the future." So much truth and meaning explored in this claustrophic narrative.

Wonderful micro from Jeffrey Hermann in Fractured Lit - "There’s a beautiful beach. You get there by walking through a shady path, and then you’re on the soft sand." - Beautiful evocation of place and I love the way it hones in on a specific object.

"When the Children came back, they came back different" - talk about an opening line. Then the way this builds from Sara McKinney is all kinds of special. A must read if you've not caught it already.

Another great piece from Fractured Lit, this one from ali mckenzie-murdoch - love the way the italicised words connect with the story in between, the way the images build towards that final line. 👏
