This week, the Baobab_RPC team is excited to be back in Uganda, working with a knowledgeable team of interviewers, and delivering data collection training ahead of our mixed-methods study on ‘Addressing Unintended Pregnancy in Refugee Settings in Uganda’.
Lovely to hear interviewer recaps and key takeaway messages from yesterday’s Day 1 training, delivered by this Baobab_RPC stellar team of trainers!
Baobab_RPC is excited to collaborate with the Ugandan government Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Office of the Prime Minister - Uganda, UNHCR East, Horn of Africa and Great Lakes, Kiryandongo District Local Government and Windle International Uganda to pilot a school-based intervention to respond to the needs of child survivors of sexual violence.
This PSW model is one to watch - it is promising, with a lot of potential for child protection & we congratulate Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development for having the foresight to establish this cadre. With rigorous PSW training including role plays, we continue to closely monitor & support this intervention
