Returning the Members course back to the Members tomorrow as good as we found it…weather impacted production, but not quality…proud of the entire Team 👏👏👏

We return the course tomorrow…if you can’t blow it clean…you flush it clean…on a side note, 30% of our Team are not involved in the aeration process rather they are continuing course upkeep…mowing grass and keeping the traps on point 👌✅

It’s been 3 days since a greens clip….still averaging .7/M over 3 days…added 800,000,000 seeds, needle tined, rolled…plus some Dryject Ontario to all aprons/approaches…firming them up…rain or shine…1 season at a time…

A special “Thank you” to Mr. W and Mr. C 👏. Over the past 14 days, Grounds has been treated to pizza lunches from 2 individual Members…not solicited or expected but we are thankful…their personal words of appreciation meant the world to our seasonal crew…🙏👏👏👏

Up in 4 days….better after 6….pre-punching aprons ahead of the drop seed looks to have been the right call…2 rain storms and we are moving in the right direction…🙏✅

5 days post Vredo Vredo Dodewaard B.V. AQUA-AID Solutions plus timely rains & optimum temperature…our mixed stand greens resiliency keeps improving….growing environments first….hole 7 has so much more sunlight and airflow…especially during the fall/pre-winter plant health period ✅

2 years ago and today…KCM Construction Group Inc. were tremendous partners in a year long Infrastructure Improvement Plan…they “flipped” this hole, then helped turn the page on the other 18…we are more resilient moving forward…Thank you Bryan, Adam and Rennae. ✅👏👊

This strip of Toro 590G spray heads with PSN 180 nozzles fits the bill…not used often, but certainly covers the step cut and rocks during summer heating…saving water but more importantly, site specific irrigation 💦

Manufacturing ⏰ time…one of my favourite tasks is grabbing my “paintbrush” and painting a picture…trimming bunker edges takes a deft touch…1” fairway roll-ins today…👌✅👍

Before and after….I enjoy trimming up bunker lips on crisp, dew filled mornings…less is always more ✂️

Sometimes you go early…13 days post seeding the nursery greens received a 1st mow at .250 solids…plus vertical drop seeding between the early fairway seed catch, solid, dust and roll before Saturday’s rains…dry weather and heat return next week…

The next 6 weeks are optimum for plant recovery and pre-winter stress preparations…with sun angles decreasing, good soil temperatures and favourable forecasts, it’s go ✅ time…sand, seed, nutrition 🍁☀️📐💦🌡️
