The Roberts Lab found a way to potentially turn back the clock on some cancer cells to offer a new treatment paradigm. Removing a 2nd protein from cancer cells already experiencing tumor suppressor loss may return those cells back to a more normal state. bit.ly/3ITapcT
A first of it's kind, the 'Oncogene hyperactivation' conference highlighted an emerging paradigm in cancer research. Many thanks to Harold Varmus, René Bernards Bernards Laboratory@NKI, Kim Stegmaier Stegmaier Lab and Bill Sellers for bringing together this eclectic group!
It’s official! The Gardiner Lab is loading! Very excited to be joining Tufts Biology Department in September 2025 to study the intersection of viruses, ECM/fibroblast biology, and epigenetics!
Excited to share our new review in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery covering ongoing efforts to therapeutically target chromatin remodelers focusing on SWI/SNF complexes. Congratulations to authors Hayden Malone and Charlie! St. Jude Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences @stjuderesearch #swisnf (1/9) nature.com/articles/s4157…
Chromatin remodellers as therapeutic targets bit.ly/3S7moIL This review by Hayden Malone & Charles Roberts The Roberts Lab discusses progress in therapeutically targeting chromatin remodellers, with a focus on SWI/SNF complexes, which are often dysregulated in cancer
A fantastic update on drug development for SWI/SNF remodelers by Hayden Malone The Roberts Lab. Learn about SWI/SNF complexes, their role in disease, and how this work is influencing therapeutic strategies for cancer, infectious disease, and beyond. hubs.la/Q02H5nz50
I am so excited to share that I am starting this Fall as an Investigator at Lady Davis Institute and Assistant Professor at McGill McGill Gerald Bronfman Dept. of Oncology (GBDO)! I’ll be recruiting students and a research asssistant- Get in touch if you’re interested in chromatin and gene regulation! martinlab.ca
🚨 New Research Alert! 🚨 Excited to share our latest paper on PHF6's role in linking H3K14 acetylation, #SWISNF, and #RNApolymerase complexes. Now live in Nature Communications! 🎉 Big congrats to the first author, Dr. Priya Mittal, and all co-authors! 👏 nature.com/articles/s4146…
I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new position as a Yale School of Medicine Science Fellow in the Department of Genetics Yale Department of Genetics! I’ll be co-mentored by the Reinke and @Noonanlab Labs. Can’t wait to join the scientific community at Yale this Sept! YSM Science Fellows
