Our field extension officers have been provided with motorcycles to enable their movements from one place to another to meet and talk to farmers, give them tips and provide the necessary assistance for their agricultural needs.

OVER 500 MEDICAL OFFICERS WERE ISSUED WITH LONG-AWAITED PROMOTION LETTERS. County Government of Busia 040 through the Department of Health and Sanitation issued promotion letters to (588) medical officers with (150) officers scheduled to undergo suitability tests before confirming their upgrade

Work in progress at the Agricultural Training Center (ATC) for the laying of cabro blocks (cabros) to create parking lots, footpath, drive way and drainage. The parking lot at the ATC area, will include few modern stalls to serve the clients.

Other areas earmarked for laying of cabros include, Hospital road, the stretch between Co-operative Bank and Amukura House, and Public Works to Petro Petrol Station.

Today I held a meeting with officials of the Kenya Red Cross at their offices in Nairobi’s South C. We signed an agreement for our County to be supplied with state of art ambulances to be used by our health facilities… We are delivering for Busia.

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate my brother and friend Hon. Hon Wycliffe A. Oparanya, EGH on this auspicious day of assuming office as the Cabinet Secretary for Co-Operatives and MSMEs Development. Go and serve the country Omwami.

Together with my colleague Governor of Kakamega County FCPA Fernandes Barasa, OGW, we joined other leaders both elected & nominated from Western Kenya and dignitaries for a thanksgiving celebration in honour of CS Hon Wycliffe A.
