🗓️ 60 years ago today, Harwich and Parkeston FC played their first-ever Athenian League game - and what a cracker it was! 🤯 Windsor & Eton were beaten 5-4 on the Oak with Dick Parker, Don Candy, Roger Stevens (pictured), John 'Dots' Holmes and Steve Devaux finding the net.

👀 Look what you've woken up to Harwich and Parkeston FC fans! It's the 1st time #HPFC have been top of the table after 6 league games since 2013/14 (Matt Carmichael also in charge then). Last occurrence in senior football (we think) was 1992/93. 6 wins from 6 on both occasions.

🥅 Bradley cook and the Harwich and Parkeston FC defence have kept three consecutive clean sheets for the first time since early 2022. 👏 A great effort considering that they've played with 10 men for the majority of two of those matches! 🦐 #HPFC #OldSafeHands #BradsCooking
