It took #Meta almost 1000 days of Russias war of aggression against Ukraine 🇺🇦 to ban #Russia Today, Sputnik and other disinformation media outlets. In the EU, like in the UK, we banned RT in March 2022. We need to take disinformation much more seriously.

This was an awful crime with devastating consequences for the children involved. I am baffled by the sentencing decision. It sends the signal to consumers of illegal content that digital crimes are somehow different to real world crimes. A review would challenge this attitude.
