With Denise (a white sock lawyer) it is off to the National Academy of Sciences meeting. Looking forward to honoring the new inductees (congrats again!) and meeting many friends in Washington D.C.
After giving a final and enjoying a spectacular austinopera performance of Carmen, it is off to Hangzhou vis Shanghai for the ISMSC2024 Team ISMSC meeting. Excited for great science and a chance to meet and make so many friends.
Heading home to Austin from Xi’an, a final China tour stop that featured a spectacular visit to the Terracotta Warriors with Yuanning Feng, Prof. Osuka, Huacheng Zhang, Yanli Zhao and other friends. Long, fun trip!
