Seth Johnson had his first start of 6 IP all year in his last start for Lehigh Valley on August 30. Allowed just 1 hit. Johnson had a 1.52 ERA in August and had made 3 Triple-A starts (5 total with organization). The #Phillies have been giving him 6-7 days rest between starts.

Big win for the Eagles. Overcame costly turnovers. Overcame some explosive plays by GB. Eagles were the better team and controlled a lot of the game. Lots to fix, but you can also see this team's potential. 1-0.

Eagles did a lot of good stuff. But I think a lot of people will agree with me — you can win with Hurts playing like that but you can’t WIN. Fans have to hope it was just first game in the new system, first game with Jurgens, etc. Sure looked like a lot of last year’s 💩though
