Yesterday Joseph Cafazzo had the audacity to accuse me of not keeping our publications page updated 😠 Sadly, he was right! I can't keep up with our super smart students! I have since atoned and now you can all read Centre for Digital Therapeutics's latest work 😌 centrefordigitaltherapeutics.ca/publications 🗞️
Another University Health Network #WomenInnovatingTogether event in the books with 50+ brilliant women leaders making connections to support and inspire the work we do within and beyond hospital walls. 💪👩💻🏥

TRANSFORM #HeartFailure Co-Lead Dr. Heather Ross & Patient Partner Sharon Bray met with Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland this weekend at Vector Institute! Federal investment in #AI helps support #digitalhealth tools like Medly for Heart Failure that are safe, accurate & accessible for all.
Incredible results. Congrats Darshan H Brahmbhatt and the entire team.
And this afternoon at #ICIC24 I shared how we partnered with people with lived experience to recruit participants to co-design an integrated #MentalHealth & #Type1Diabetes program. Special thanks to JDRF Canada, Brain Canada, & Diabetes Action Can.! Stay tuned for that paper, too.
The Health Canada and PHAC has released "Guiding principles on transparency for machine learning-enabled medical devices (MLMD)". This guidance is to distinguish "transparency" from the often-mentioned "explainability" for AI-enabled systems, the latter which cannot always be achieved.
We are honoured that the Hunter family shared their story and experience with Medly! Our impacts would not have been possible without the support of University Health Network Heather Ross Joseph Cafazzo and our clinical team! 🩺🫀
Great to be back teaching #humanfactors in the Queen's Health Quality Programs #MScHQ program alongside Joseph Cafazzo. We are kicking off the start of intensive week this morning! #PatientSafety #QualityImprovement #Healthcare
