This show is so good. Ted Lasso season 1 level good. Jason Segel and the rest of the cast do a tremendous job. Great stories, dialogue, comedy, and chemistry. Really hope @AppleTVPlus picks it up for a 2nd season

Lemme flesh out the argument here since some respondents and QT’ers seem to be missing the point. It’s not just “greedy insurance companies are making health care expensive!” It’s that *we built a system that incentivizes insurers to systematically ⬆️ health care costs.* (🧵)

This is Luna. She was just dreaming about being a boxer while under anesthesia. Has the "float like a butterfly" part down, still practicing stinging like a bee. 13/10

This is a common argument I hear from the pro private equity crowd. I’m trying to reconcile this argument with the business model of PE. Somebody help me. As far as I know, the only ways to generate profit is by cutting costs and/or increasing revenue. (Thread)

This is what health insurance companies do. They find a commonly performed procedure costing them money, cover it with red tape, then attribute their actions to physician greed. Aetna did it with cataract surgery last year. This is just the beginning. statnews.com/2023/05/15/uni…
