This description (or similar) is something I see often but which doesn’t describe the experience of most professors I know (including myself). E.g. in 20 years I’ve had 2 total semesters where I didn’t teach every day & many colleagues teach summer school b/c they need the money.

Anyone finding this? Even if I use the search box and look for Duke, it’s not listed.
