Today @angelarayner and Rushanara Ali MP 💙 met mayors, regulators and other partners to make sure swift action is taken to make sure buildings are safe. The Deputy PM told attendees this is ‘mission critical’ and pledged to work with them to ensure remediation happens quickly.

Unsafe cladding still poses a risk for far too many people across the country. This can’t continue. People deserve to live in safe homes. I met with mayors, regulators and partners today to set clear expectations about urgently making homes safe and speeding up remediation.
