No practice today for; - George Kittle (hamstring) - Charvarius Ward (hamstring/knee) - Deebo Samuel (calf)

Kittle's/Ward's injuries presumably are from Sunday's game. Both were listed as full participants in Wednesday's practice, which is a light session. The Thursday practice is the more rigorous of the week.

It doesn't sound as if Charvarius Ward's knee/hamstring issue is too serious. "We're being smart and decided to hold him out," Nick Sorensen said.

Sorensen noted that Talanoa Hufanga's been getting snaps on the scout team in recent weeks and that he's looked sharp in practice this week. "It's like he hasn't missed a beat."

Cool sight from Thursday's practice: Ricky Pearsall running routes. He was doing it on a side field with a trainer, but he looks like himself as far as running, making sharp cuts, etc. ... Pearsall must two more games but sounds like he will be ready shortly after that.

I'll ask that today. I do know that Pearsall's shoulder didn't suffer any further damage during his struggle with the gunman.

No George Kittle (hamstring) at the start of practice though Charvarius Ward (hamstring, knee) is on hand. Nick Bosa (rib) seems fine.

George Kittle's missed six of 62 starts in the last four seasons, and one of them was last year's meaningless finale against the Rams. Gotta question your definition of "fuckload".
