Final thoughts from Beach City Hoops 🌴🏀☀️ “Orientation” Class of 2028 showed to be very competitive. With a blend of crafty guard play, athletic wings, and the return of the traditional bigs. This class could be one of the more diverse classes SoCal has seen in some time. 🍿🎥🏀

Exhausted and probably voiceless for the next few days, but the 9th annual Creme of the County is in the books! What a great day of basketball and the collective eyes of the hoops SoCal hoops community were on San Diego! Thanks to all the players, parents, media, and programs…

Shoutout to Aaron Burgin for another year of the Creme of the County. Seeing what it’s grown into since day 1 is incredible. Happy to have Steele Canyon Basketball represented as well!

Another amazing event put on by Aaron Burgin yesterday! It was a fun day of basketball for everyone involved. Creme of the County has turned into an amazing day that kids, parents and coaches enjoy in the city of San Diego. Appreciate all you do to make it happen each year!

COTC Notes: The biggest surprise of the event was 6-7 2026 W Tim Dorn (Mira Mesa), whose family just arrived to SD after a naval tour in Hawaii. The long, wiry wing has high major athleticism and length, and scores it effectively attacking the basket with his dominant hand.

COTC 2024 Creme Of The County San Diego has loads of talent! The “kids” from our county had the opportunity once again to showcase their talent in front of writers, scouts and coaches all together, as they have the past 9 years thanks to Aaron Burgin Give this man his flowers.
