In Feb the minister told us he will review the findings of the healthy happy minds pilot. Since we have seen that a similar pilot will be subject to funding. £250,000 is being spent on magnetic pouches for ten schools. £250,000 would secure 5,555 hours of counselling…

At a time when resources are so stretched in the public sector, this expenditure is hard to fathom. Not only do most schools already have policies in place to deal with this issue but each mobile comes with an off switch which is absolutely free...

It was a pleasure to visit Holy Cross Boys' PS today and catch up with Ciaran and Kevin. Thanks to the support from the National Lottery Community Fund and lottery players, Mental Health Movement is now able to accept several referrals from the school for our counselling service.

Great to get back to my former primary school today and delivering some good news!
