Stronger butter prices are helping to push 25tBSC prices higher, range now circa £2.25kg to £2.30kg ex works, top end of the range more linked with export returns. Operational issues continue to impact spot milk prices, maintaining a wide price range from 28ppl to 42ppl delivered

Prices for 25tBSC holding £2.33kg to £2.35kg ex works with exports returns also unchanged from the previous week. Spot milk prices are starting to climb as more come to the market looking to buy with seasonal peak now well behind. Prices now 40ppl to 41ppl delivered and climbing

25tBSC prices are up again this week with our domestic price now £2.38 kg ex works with exports returning at best £2.45kg while continental domestic cream prices have eased a tad (c.£2.62kg ex). Spot milk prices moving north as milk supply tightens circa 42ppl to 43ppl delivered.

Domestic 25tBSC prices have now edged up above the £2.40kg ex works level with exports delivering around £2.45kg equivalent. EU dom cream put around £2.63kg ex. Spot milk prices consolidating c. 43ppl to 44ppl level with very few now in a position of having to sell any surpluses.

Spot milk price holding around 43ppl to 44ppl del. 25tBSC prices have stepped up with domestic price range now at £2.47kg to £2.50kg ex works. Export returning £2.53kg to £2.55kg ex on the back of stronger EU market with their home market put at £2.72kg to £2.76kg ex equivalent.

Butter prices have firmed slightly which, inturn has helped domestic cream prices to push up further, to levels pretty much on a par with export returns at £2.62kg to £2.65kg ex works. Spot milk prices maybe just easing back a touch on the previous week, 43ppl to 44ppl delivered.

Markets are reported quiet with prices pretty much unchanged from last week. 25tBSC price range £2.62kg to £2.65kg ex works. Spot milk trading range 42ppl to 45ppl delivered. Demand is not rocket though and therefore, having to sell it might be a struggle to achieve these prices.

Little change with spot milk still in the 42ppl to 45ppl delivered range. 25tBSC domestic prices also holding around £2.62kg to £2.65kg ex works, with export returns at the top end of this range. EU domestic prices have firmed a little but any positive effect yet to filter back.

UK 25tBSC prices this wk £2.68 to £2.70kg ex works, exports adding 5p premium on back of stronger EU domestic prices, ranging from £2.88 to £2.97 per kg ex works equivalent. Spot milk 42ppl to 45ppl del with a little weakness in price reported if having to shift larger volumes.

Another new record for our 25tBSC price with some desperate buyers paying as much as £3.36kg ex works for delivery next week. However, the main trading range for bulk of volume also an all time high £3.13 to £3.18kg ex works. Spot milk price creeping up 48ppl to 50ppl delivered.
