Day 9: EF Educational Tours we talk about memories not monuments as we think about the changing world of travel. Heavy rains may have shifted our plan for the DMZ today slightly (no tunnel). Still awe inspiring to learn the history & be so close (2km) to North Korea. #professionalearning24

After the DMZ, we explored the Korean War Memorial museum where we learned more than I’ve ever learned from a textbook about the war. Then we headed to the N tower where we ran into one of our EF Educational Tours student groups & got to chat. Enjoyed an incredible & authentic group dinner!

Day 10: our final day in Korea was action-packed. Korean Royal palace, incredible cooking class & the Hyuandi STEM Motorstudio. It’s been a whirlwind 10+ das here in Asia. Our educators have learned, connected and grown beyond themselves. That’s a wrap on #professionallearning24

Hello from the future :) it’s Friday here in Seoul & I’m making my way back to Boston. It’s been an incredibly rewarding 2 weeks learning & exploring Japan & Korea. I ❤️ my team, the educators I travel with & the experiences but I’m tired & ready to hug my family! 20 hours to go.

When you’ve slept approximately 10 hours of the last 48 and jet lag wakes you up at 4:30am, you go for a solid run. Good to be back on the ‘ville. I love seeing my city before it wakes up. #fitleaders #lesshumiditythanjapan

What an incredibly inspiring week at EF. Just like the educators we partner with, we’re in prep mode for back to school. There is nothing more #inspiring than grounding in our personal “why” we do the work we do of opening the world for communities through educational travel.

I LOVE the first day of school. The excitement, the #potential & even the nerves. Every year since I was a child, we’d start the day with homemade waffles. I’ve carried that tradition on with my kids - here’s to the start of another year of #possibilities!
